As a free service, the Western Australian Government through the State Migration Centre, can sponsor eligible students for a Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa. The Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa Scheme provides skilled migrants with a three year temporary visa allowing you to live and work in regional Western Australia.

It should be noted that prospective migrants can remain in Western Australia throughout the application process.

Students who are granted a Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa, and fulfil its two-year obligations, can then be sponsored for permanent residency via a range of State-Sponsored visa categories, including the Skilled Sponsored Visa.

To be eligible for these visas, applicants must have an Australian degree, diploma or trade qualification as a result of at least two years of full-time study at one or more educational institutions in Australia. Visa applications must be lodged within six months of completion of your studies.
