In Australia migration agents must be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority.  A registered migration agent is able to advise on visa requirements and help lodge a visa application on your behalf.

If you choose to use a migration agent it is important to check whether the agent is properly registered.  It is illegal in Australia to provide advice about migration to Australia without being properly registered.

You can apply for State Sponsorship directly or through your migration agent.  If you apply through a migration agent Skilled Migration WA will usually correspond directly with your appointed migration agent
