Skilled Migration Western Australia (SMWA) is no longer accepting State sponsorship applications under transitional arrangements.

This means SMWA no longer offers State sponsorship for the following:

The Skilled – Sponsored (subclass 886) visa;
The Skilled – Sponsored (Provisional) (Subclass 487) visa; and
Those who have lodged a visa application with Department of Immigration and Citizenship between 1 September 2007 to 30 June 2010.

Western Australian State sponsorship is now only available for the following visas:

Skilled – Nominated (subclass 190) visa; and
Skilled – Regional Nominated (provisional) (subclass 489) visa.
