Invitations for the November 2019 round are anticipated to be issued by 21 November 2019.

Dates for the round may be subject to change.

Invitations issued each month may vary depending on the number of applications being processed by Migration Services.

Selection process

On a monthly basis a set number of EOIs are selected from SkillSelect to receive an invitation to apply for State nomination. If you are invited, WA Migration Services will contact you via email with a link to the State nomination application form.

EOIs are selected based on the following ranking system.

1. Applicants eligible for the general stream by highest points score.

2. Applicants eligible for the graduate stream by;

           a: if you have completed a PhD or Masters qualification in Western Australia at a Western Australian university,          that includes 2 years of full time study:

           b: if you have completed a Honours degree or other higher degree in Western Australia at a Western Australian university, that includes 2 years full time study:

           c: if you have completed a Bachelor degree in Western Australia at a Western Australian university, that includes 2 years full time study:

           d: the highest amount of Australian work experience in their nominated or closely related occupation:

           e: the highest level of English language proficiency; and

           f: the highest total SkillSelect points score.

If you qualify for both the general and the graduate stream, you will be offered an invitation through the general stream in the first instance.

If multiple EOIs are ranked at the same level, invitations will be issued based on the EOI submission date.

Having an eligible EOI does not guarantee you will receive an invitation for State Nomination. To recieve an invitation in a future round please ensure that your EOI meets all requirements as outlined above, plus any additional State nomination criteria.  Please also ensure that your nominated occupation is currently available on the Western Australian skilled migration occupation list (WASMOL) or Graduate occupation list (GOL).

Migration Services is not able to provide individual feedback as to why you did not receive an invitation. If you believe there has been an oversight please email migration@dtwd.wa.gov.au.
